Bolwell
Bolwell is an Australian company that originally produced sports cars between 1962 and 1979. A new company of the same name began production of new cars in 2009 after several years of concept and show cars. Models Mk IV The Mk IV was a kit car, offered as a coupe with gull wing doors and as an open sports car. Over 200 were produced between 1962 and 1964. Mk V 75 Mk V coupes were produced between 1964 and 1966, using mostly Holden components. Mk VI The Mk VI, also known as the SR6, was a one off mid-engined sports racing car built in 1968. Mk VII 400 examples of the MK VII coupe were produced between 1967 and 1971, mostly as kits but also in fully built form. Later kits from around 1969 onwards were built by Kadala Cars for Bolwell. Denzel (automobile)
The Denzel automobile was an early competitor to Porsche in Vienna, Austria beginning in 1948. Although some automobile historians have relegated this marque to the category of a builder of "specials", the Denzel was manufactured for approximately 7–8 years after 5 years of development with total output approaching 300 units ending in 1959 according to the biography of Wolfgang Denzel on the company web site. Denzel achieved worldwide publicity with their stunning win of the 1954 Alpine Rally. Denzel only manufactured open roadsters, similar in style to the first post-war Porsche prototype. Austro-Tatra
The Austro-Tatra was a car made by Austro-Tatra-Werke, Vienna, from 1934 to 1948. After World War I and the subdivision of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the administration, (headquartered in Vienna) and factory (located in Nesselsdorf (Koprivnice), Czechoslovakia), of the Nesselsdorf, later Tatra, company, were divided by a new frontier and border. The newly founded company Austro-Tatra started to assemble original Tatra cars in their works at Simmering, near Vienna, and after 1934, built the Tatra 57 under license. World War II interrupted production in 1939, but production was taken up again on a limited scale from 1946 to 1948. Austro-Daimler
Austro-Daimler was an Austro-Hungarian automaker company, from 1899 until 1934. It was a subsidiary of the German ''Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft'' (DMG) until 1909. Early history In 1890, Eduard Bierenz was appointed as Austrian retailer. The company sold so well that it also began manufacturing the automobiles after uniting with Eduard Fischer's engineering factory. The works were located at Wiener-Neustadt. By this subsidiary ''DMG'' became the first automotive multinational in history. Thus on August 11, 1899, the Austrian Daimler Engine Society was founded. Puch () is a manufacturing company located in Graz, Austria. The company was founded in 1899 by the industrialist Johann Puch and produced automobiles, bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles. It was a subsidiary of the large Steyr-Daimler-Puch conglomerate. Giocattolo Motori Pty Ltd was a short-lived Australian car company, founded in 1986 by sports car enthusiast Paul Halstead and Formula One designer Barry Lock. The company's name comes from the Italian word for "toy". The Giocattolo was originally based on a heavily modified Alfa Romeo Sprint body shell with a mid-mounted Alfa V6 engine. By the fourth prototype, the V6 engine had proved to be too difficult and expensive to import and install in the car, so the company replaced the projected V6 by a Holden V8 engine built by Holden Special Vehicles.
