Jack Duarte
Robert Jack Duarte Wallace (born April 7, 1986, in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican actor and singer. He is known for his acting performance in the Mexican telenovela '' Rebelde'' as "Tomas Goycolea" and as a member of the Mexican-Argentine pop band, Eme 15. Life During his time in the boy band ''M5'', Duarte toured through various countries in Latin America including Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Honduras. Within five years, ''M5s records twice achieved platinum status in Bolivia and once in Costa Rica. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. Eme 15 (also stylized as ''EME XV'' and ''M-15'') were a Mexican-Argentine Latin pop band composed of the six lead actors from the 2012 Nickelodeon Latin America television series ''Miss XV''. The band was formed for the series in Mexico City by Televisa by producer Pedro Damián in August 2011. Music for the band's album was produced and written by Carlos Lara and former pop-rock singer Lynda Thomas.
