30 (tennis)
The tennis scoring system is a way to keep track of tennis matches and tournaments. Tennis
Tennis
competitions are organized by tournaments that offer matches for doubles and singles. Every tournament begins with a draw that displays all the players participating. Each player is placed in a bracket on the draw sheet, which allows the elimination process. All tournaments need a draw so they can easily have all players organized. Once the tournament begins, round 1 starts. All the players or teams play a match against there assigned player but taking in mind that there may be some "byes". So in tennis terms , "bye" means when the draw either has insufficient amount of players or the player pulled out. That causes the player from the first round to automatically advance to the second round. Players get taken off the draw if they lose. Some tournaments give the option for consolation
