, also known as Triple Crown accreditation, describes the combination of all three leading international accreditations that a business school can achieve: The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ( AACSB), the Association of MBAs (
AMBA Amba or AMBA may refer to: Title * Amba Hor, alternative name for Abhor and Mehraela, Christian martyrs * Amba Sada, also known as Psote, Christian bishop and martyr in Upper Egypt Given name * Amba, the traditional first name given to the first ...
), and EFMD Quality Improvement System ( EQUIS). A total of 124 business schools in the world are triple-accredited . This equals around 1% of business schools worldwide.

Accreditation comparison

Each of the three institutions assesses a business school according to different criteria and scope. AMBA accreditation certifies the overall quality of the Master in Business Administration MBA programme portfolio, including faculty and facilities. The accreditation assures students that a business school adheres to high quality standards. AACSB and EQUIS include quality benchmarks for the school.

Schools by country

In May 2020 there were 100 triple-accredited business schools in 36 countries or regions:. The number of Triple Accredited schools had grown to over 110 by November 2021 and to 125 as of August 2023. List from unless otherwise given.
