Hagedorn came off the bench during his first two seasons at South Dakota. As a sophomore, he averaged 5.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, helping the team reach the NIT. Hagedorn averaged 13 points and 5.9 rebounds per game as a junior, earning Second Team All-
