Name

The actual name ''Tvååker'' could be translated as ''twofield'' (or ''twoacre''). But it is instead a corruption of the name ''Toaker'' (1198). The word ''to'' has been interpreted as '' flax'', i.e. ''"flax field"''.Svenskt ortnamnslexikon 2003.
