'' called ''The Self-Titled Album'' 's "Lonesome Crying Eyes" a 'tear-in-your-beer ballad' and "The Strangest Couple In Love" a 'hooky, driving pop-rock number' while concluding that Amos Pitsch tends to channel Paul Westerberg in his 'fondness for extremes'.
