In science fiction

The archetype evolved from the air pirate trope popular from the turn of the century until the 1920s. By the 1930s, space pirates were recurring villains in the

It would later be made into a film titled '' Zathura: A Space Adventure''. In 2005, the film, '' Serenity'' featured a space pirate named Captain Malcolm Reynolds, who said that he "aim to misbehave." He would be described by some as "good at heart" and a romantic figure.
