The team is one of the MPBL's charter teams during the league's 2018 season. The team is currently owned by the City Government of Parañaque and its vice mayor Joan Villafuerte. As of 2023, the Parañaque Patriots is tied with the Laguna Krah Asia for the longest active playoff drought in the MPBL, with both teams having missed the playoffs since 2019.


History

The team were one of the ten charter teams in the MPBL as part of the 2018 season. On January 25, 2018, Parañaque played in the inaugural game against the Caloocan Supremos, where they won, 70-60.
