Until February 2009, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Real, and Banreal Holding (Spain), which he subsequently sold due to economic and political instability and the deterioration of Latin America; he also held management positions in Banco Activo Banco Comercial. In 2008, with an investment of $5 million, which led to a capital of over $60 million and assets under management of some $600 million, he founded Bancredito International Bank & Trust Corporation (Bancredito). He also created the Bancredito Foundation and Bancredito Financial Services.
