In March 2009, in an attempt to dissuade young people from trying drugs, Frantz interviewed Novak who was then committed to a mental institution for recovery from prescription drug addiction. Frantz and Novak have started writing the second book in the ''Dreamseller'' series, which is centered around Novak's relationship with his father, now deceased.
