Jeffrey was glad the character survived the conclusion to the series, believing her to have untapped potential. For her performance as Kitzinger, Ambrose has received a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Television at the 38th Annual Saturn Awards, held on 20 June 2012.
