Arlene Tur is an American actress, television presenter and model. She is best known for her roles as Bebe Arcel in the 2008 television drama series ''Crash'', Armenia in the 2010 film ''Eat Pray Love'' and as Vera Juarez in '' Torchwood: Miracle Day''. Early life Tur was born in Miami, Florida, the only child to parents who were Cuban political refugees to the United States. She graduated from Florida Christian School and attended Florida International University, where she graduated with dual Marketing and Public Relations degrees. Tur played professional beach volleyball during college, and as a result was approached by modeling agents and began a modeling career.
