The ''Dragonlance Classics'' series reprints the original adventure modules from the 14 modules in the Dragonlance Saga series from 1984 to 1986 and updates them to AD&D 2nd Edition game rules. Time has diminished its appeal not a whit, evidenced by the Classics series" Swan comments: "Don't worry if you passed on the previous two ''Classics'' books; ''Volume III'' is self-contained, including enough background to make newcomers feel at home in Krynn. Whether you experience the Saga as a whole or an abridgment, it's not to be missed. They don’t make 'em like this anymore."
