2017 Solheim Cup but ended up playing in the match after an injury to Suzann Pettersen.

Matthew's husband Graeme is her caddy and on 18 December 2006 they had their first child, a daughter, Katie. Matthew gave birth to a second daughter named Sophie on 16 May 2009.
