Riedel was also the president of the Maracaju Union in 1999, the vice-president of the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso do Sul and was also the director of the National Confederation of Agriculture (CNA). Riedel was also the president of Famasul from 2012 to 2014 and from 2011 to 2014, he was also the president of the Council of Sebrae/MS.
