Mac-Avoy's family descended from an Irish Catholic family that emigrated to France in the 17th century . Through his mother, Hélène de Cazalet, he also descended from a family of

Career

Mac-Avoy sold his first painting to the government when he was only 19 years old. It was exhibited at the
