Željko Pervan (born 7 August 1962) is a Croatian comedian. He is best known as the creator and actor in the comedy show ''Evening School'' ( Croatian: '' Večernja Škola'') Life and career Pervan was born in Zagreb Zagreb ( , , , ) is the capital (political), capital and List of cities and towns in Croatia#List of cities and towns, largest city of Croatia. It is in the Northern Croatia, northwest of the country, along the Sava river, at the southern slop ..., and started his career in Radio 101 in 1985. Together with Vinko Grubišić, Goran Pirš, Zlatan Zuhrić and Davor Pocrnić, he founded the comedy group ''Naughty Children'' ( hr, Zločesta djeca) which was notorious for its black uncensored humour. In 1995 Pervan, together with Mladen Horvat, Zlatan Zuhrić, Đuro Utješanović and Ahmed Al Rahim, started ''Večernja škola'', a live comedy television show. Večernja škola (English: ''Evening school'') is a Croatian comedy show hosted by Željko Pervan that originally aired on Jabuka TV, OTV between 1995 and 1998. After achieving considerable popularity in the region, its subsequent seasons were aired on Nova TV (Croatia), Nova TV and HRT 1, HRT. Radio 101 is a Croatian independent radio station which broadcast alternative and contemporary music, as well as breaking news. It is operating in Zagreb and had a regional license for the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb County. In its heyday, the station had an audience of about 1.2 million. and it is one of the most popular radio stations in Zagreb and Croatia. The station started broadcasting in 1984 under the name of ''Omladinski radio'', following the Belgrade based Studio Bscheme. In 1990, the station changed its original name to Radio 101. In 1996, Radio 101 came to national prominence as a vocal critic of the ruling party (Croatian Democratic Union) which retaliated by revoking the station's broadcasting license in favour of a novelty radio station.
