The École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ÉnsAD, also known as Arts Decos', École des Arts Décoratifs) is a public grande école of art and design of PSL Research University. Richard Peduzzi (born 1943 in Argentan, Orne) is a French scenographer. He was the director of the French Academy in Rome from September 2002 to August 2008. Since 1969, he has decorated the sets designed by Patrice Chéreau, and together they have put on several dramatic texts by Bernard-Marie Koltès. In the theatre, they participated in the centennial productions of ''Der Ring des Nibelungen'' at Bayreuth under the direction of Pierre Boulez. Jacques Adnet (20 April 1900 – 29 October 1984) was a French art deco modernist designer, architect and interior designer. He was known for his furniture designs in leather. Education An icon of luxurious French Modernism, Jacques Adnet grew up with the 20th Century. He attended the Municipal School of Design in Auxerre and the École des Beaux-Arts Paris. He believed in the functional aspect of furniture combined with geometrical simplicity. Jacques Adnet was inspired by pre-classical styles and was well acquainted with traditional furniture. Until the age of 28, Jacques lived and worked hand in hand with his twin brother Jean at the Studio La Maitrise, where they met the Art Déco designer Maurice Dufrene. Léon Pierre Guillaume Moussinac (19 January 1890 – 10 March 1964) was a French writer, film and art critic, film historian and film theorist. Life and career Moussinac was born in the family of a railroad station master. He studied law and had to leave his home with his family after his father's death in 1907. Settling in Paris, he studied at the Faculty of Law at the Lyceum of Charlemagne, where he met Louis Delluc, who had a significant influence on Mussinac, attracting him to poetry, theater, interested in painting and modern literature. Louis XV (15 February 1710 – 10 May 1774), known as Louis the Beloved (french: le Bien-Aimé), was King of France from 1 September 1715 until his death in 1774.
