Çayyolu
Çayyolu is a suburb of Ankara, Turkey. Location and history Çayyolu at is situated to the west of Hacettepe University Beytepe campus, to the east of Ankara ring road and to the south of the Turkish state highway . Its distance to the Ankara centrum is about . The core of the suburb is a former village named ''Kutuğun'' situated almost at the center of the Çayyolu suburb. In 1967 the village was renamed Çayyolu. Beginning by the next year, housing projects around the village transformed the rural area into an urban area. Up to 2012, it was a part of Yenimahalle ilçe (district). But in 2012, it was included in the Çankaya ilçe. Today Çayyolu is a modern suburb with parks, shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, coffeehouses, cinema halls a sports complex and a theatre named 125th Anniversary Çayyolu Stage. Ankara ( , ; ), historically known as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey. Ankara Metro
The Ankara Metro ( tr, Ankara Metrosu) is the rapid transit system serving Ankara, the capital of Turkey. At present, Ankara's rapid transit system consists of two metro lines – the ''Batıkent Metrosu (M1)''and the new ''Keçiören Metrosu (M4)'' line opened in 2017, along with the light rail ''Ankaray'' line. The Ankaray, the M1 and M4 lines, together transported 104.1 million passengers in 2014. That corresponds to a ridership of approximately 289,155 per day. In February 2019 all the lines that used to run M1, M2 and M3 were merged to create one line, M1. The '' Kızılay to Atatürk Cultural Center'' link of M4 is not yet opened and remains under construction. Çankaya is a district of Ankara, Turkey. It is home to many government buildings, including the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, as well as nearly all foreign embassies to Turkey. Çankaya is a cosmopolitan district and considered the cultural and financial center of Ankara. Demographics The population of the central province is close to 1 million in 2016. History Until the founding of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, Çankaya was a hillside of orchards and gardens to the south of the city, which had grown up in time, surrounding the Ankara Castle (Kale) on the opposite hill. Yenimahalle is a metropolitan district of Ankara Province in the Central Anatolia Region, Turkey, Central Anatolia region of Turkey, a fast-growing urban residential district of the city of Ankara, Turkey's capital. Yenimahalle today The name ''Yenimahalle'' means ''the new quarter'' and in the late 1940s the area of open land to the west of the city was allocated for civil servants and workers housing. Otoyol 20 ( en, Motorway 20), O-20, Ankara Çevre yolu ( en, Ankara Beltway), is a motorway in Ankara, Turkey that forms the ring road of the city.
