''WtFOCK'' (stylised as ''wtFOCK'') is a Belgian teen drama web series broadcast by VIER and VIJF that follows the lives of teenagers in Antwerp. It is an adaption of the popular Norwegian series '' SKAM''. By the end of the first series, around 100,000 people were watching ''wtFOCK'' every week. ''Skam'' (; English: "Shame") is a Norwegian teen drama streaming television series about the daily life of teenagers at the Hartvig Nissen School, a gymnasium in the wealthy borough of Frogner in West End Oslo. It was produced by NRK P3, which is part of the Norwegian public broadcaster NRK. ''Skam'' follows a new main character each season. While airing, a new clip, conversation or social media post was published in real-time on the NRK website on a daily basis. Julie Andem
Julie Annette Rovelstad Andem (born 4 July 1982) is a Norwegian screenwriter, director, and television producer. Andem is most famous for being the creator, screenwriter, director, and showrunner for the internationally acclaimed Norwegian young adult internet/television series '' Skam'', which aired from 2015 to 2017 on Norway's public broadcasting network, NRK. Career Andem worked in the children's division of NRK for several years. At NRK, she created and wrote the show ''Jenter'', which means "girls" in Norwegian. ''Skam'' ''Skam'' began because NRK executives wanted to reach more teenage girls in its programming. Andem, along with Mari Magnus who later became the social media director of the series, spent six months traveling around Norway and interviewing teenagers about their lives.
