Template Attribute Language
The Template Attribute Language (TAL) is a templating language used to generate dynamic HTML and XML pages. Its main goal is to simplify the collaboration between programmers and designers. This is achieved by embedding TAL statements inside valid HTML (or XML) tags which can then be worked on using common design tools. TAL was created for Zope but is used in other Python-based projects as well. Korean Mask
Korean masks have a long tradition with the use in a variety of contexts. Masks of any type are called ''tal'' ( ko, 탈) in Korean, but they are also known by many others names such as ''gamyeon'', ''gwangdae'', ''chorani'', ''talbak'' and ''talbagaji.'' Korean masks come with black cloth attached to the sides of the mask designed to cover the back of the head and also to simulate black hair. The Transalpine Pipeline (TAL) is a crude oil pipeline, which connects Italy, Austria and Germany. History The feasibility study of the pipeline was carried out by Bechtel in 1963. The pipeline was commissioned in 1967. This time, the construction cost around US$192 million. Route The pipeline starts from the marine terminal in Trieste. From Trieste, the long pipeline runs through the Alps to Ingolstadt. From Ingolstadt long pipeline runs to Neustadt an der Donau and long pipeline runs to Karlsruhe. TAL (transcription activator-like) effectors (often referred to as TALEs, but not to be confused with the three amino acid loop extension homeobox class of proteins) are proteins secreted by some β- and γ-proteobacteria. Most of these are Xanthomonads. Plant pathogenic ''Xanthomonas'' bacteria are especially known for TALEs, produced via their type III secretion system. These proteins can bind promoter sequences in the host plant and activate the expression of plant genes that aid bacterial infection. The TALE domain responsible for binding to DNA is known to have 1.5 to 33.5 short sequences that are repeated multiple times (tandem repeats). Each of these repeats was found to be specific for a certain base pair of the DNA. These repeats also have repeat variable residues (RVD) that can detect specific DNA base pairs. Space Shuttle abort modes were procedures by which the nominal launch of the NASA Space Shuttle could be terminated. A pad abort occurred after ignition of the shuttle's main engines but prior to liftoff. An abort during ascent that would result in the orbiter returning to a runway or to an orbit lower than planned was called an "intact abort", while an abort in which the orbiter would be unable to reach a runway, or any abort involving the failure of more than one main engine, was called a "contingency abort".
