No One (album)
''No One'' is the only studio album by Chicago nu metal No One (band), band of the same name. It was released on August 14, 2001 via Immortal Records and record production, produced by Johnny K who also worked with Chicago natives Disturbed (band), Disturbed and SOiL. Neither the band nor their debut release gained any widespread commercial attention, despite the album being classified under the once-popular nu and alternative metal genre. Two singles from ''No One'' were released in "Chemical" and "Down on Me" and received moderate radio play for a short time. Background and recording After forming the group, No One began writing and played their first show on August 5, 2000 at Champ’s. Having taken place between two Chicago dates for Ozzfest, the show gained the attention of Disturbed (band), Disturbed, Soulfly, and The Deadlights. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Jonny Moseley
Jonathan William Moseley (born August 27, 1975) is an American freestyle skier and television presenter. He is the first person born in Puerto Rico to become a member of the U.S. Ski Team. He is also known for hosting three seasons of MTV's '' The Challenge'', which was formerly known as ''Real World/Road Rules Challenge''. He has also hosted four reunion specials for '' Battle of the Sexes'', the sequel of '' Battle of the Seasons'', '' Rivals II'' and '' Free Agents''. MTV2 (formerly M2) is an American pay television Cable television, channel owned by the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. The channel launched initially as an all-music video service, once the original MTV had started to shift its programming. A lead single (also known as a debut single) is the first single to be released from a studio album by an artist or a band, usually before the album itself is released and also occasionally on the same day of the album's release date. System of a Down (also known as SoaD or simply System) is an Armenian-American heavy metal band formed in Glendale, California, in 1994. Since 1997, the band has consisted of Serj Tankian (lead vocals, keyboards); Daron Malakian (guitar, vocals); Shavo Odadjian (bass, backing vocals); and John Dolmayan (drums), who replaced original drummer Andy Khachaturian. The band achieved commercial success with the release of five studio albums, three of which debuted at number one on the US ''Billboard'' 200. Slipknot (band)
Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011–2014 by guitarist Donnie Steele. Jordison was dismissed from the band on December 12, 2013. Iowa World Tour was a worldwide concert tour in 2001 and 2002 headlined by Slipknot in support of their second studio album ''Iowa''. Setlists Set list Kill The Industry Kill The Industry was a leg of the Iowa World Tour in Europe. Musicians that accompanied the tour include Static-X, Mudvayne, Amen and Raging Speedhorn. The band was supposed to play at Dynamo Open Air, but the festival was cancelled. Dry Kill Logic is an American heavy metal band from Westchester County, New York. Formed in 1995 under the names Hinge and Hinge AD, they have released three albums.
