Dry Kill Logic is an American heavy metal band from Westchester County, New York. Formed in 1995 under the names Hinge and Hinge AD, they have released three albums. History Psychodrama Records (1997–1999) After being together as a band for four years, they recorded and released (under their previous band name, Hinge) their first EP in 1997 titled ''Cause Moshing is Good Fun'' under Psychodrama Records – the band's own label. The band's second EP ''Elemental Evil'' (1999) was once again released through their own label. The nine-track disc led them to open for many well-recognized acts including Coal Chamber, Incubus, Anthrax and System of a Down. ''The Darker Side of Nonsense'' (2000–2003) In 2000, Hinge signed a record deal with Roadrunner Records. After signing with the label, they were forced to change their name due to a recording studio owning the copyright to the same name. Kittie is a Canadian heavy metal music, heavy metal band from London, Ontario. The band was formed in 1996 by guitarist Fallon Bowman and drummer Mercedes Lander, with guitarist and vocalist Morgan Lander and bassist Tanya Candler joining the following year. Morgan and Mercedes have remained the band's sole constant members. Collectively, their material released via independent record labels has sold over two million copies worldwide. Gigantour
Gigantour was a sporadically organized traveling heavy metal music festival organized by Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. The tour was founded in 2005 with dates across North America (see also Gigantour 2005), and the 2006 and 2007 line-ups also traveled to Australia. The bands appearing at the festival were chosen by Mustaine. The tour is set as an alternative to tours such as Ozzfest. The name "Gigantour" was inspired by the classic 1960s anime '' Gigantor'', of which Mustaine is a fan. The last Gigantour took place in 2013. David Scott Mustaine (born September 13, 1961) is an American musician. He is best known as the co-founder, frontman, primary songwriter and sole consistent member of the thrash metal band Megadeth and for his time as the lead guitarist of Metallica. Drowning Pool is an American rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film '' The Drowning Pool''. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, drummer Mike Luce and bassist Stevie Benton, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists. After the release of their debut album, '' Sinner'' (2001), original vocalist Dave Williams was found dead on August 14, 2002, from heart disease. Jason Jones, who replaced Williams in 2003, recorded one album, '' Desensitized'' (2004), but left in 2005 due to musical differences.
