José María Mazón Sainz
José María Mazón Sainz (1901-1981) was a Spanish lawyer and a Traditionalism (Spain), Traditionalist politician. In the early 1930s he was active within Carlism and rose to party leader in the :es:Provincia de Logroño, province of Logroño. Engaged in the Spanish coup of July 1936, coup of July 1936, during the Spanish Civil War he favored unification into the state party. His political career climaxed at the turn of the decades; in 1937-1938 he held a seat in the first FET y de las JONS, Falange Española Tradicionalista executive Junta Política and in 1937-1942 during two first terms he was member of another top party structure, National Council of the Movement, Consejo Nacional. Mazon Creek Fossils
The Mazon Creek fossil beds are a conservation ' found near Morris, in Grundy County, Illinois. The fossils are preserved in ironstone concretions, formed approximately in the mid- Pennsylvanian epoch of the Carboniferous period. These concretions frequently preserve both hard and soft tissues of animal and plant materials, as well as many soft-bodied organisms that do not normally fossilize. The quality, quantity and diversity of fossils in the area, known since the mid-nineteenth century, make the Mazon Creek ' important to paleontologists, in attempting to reconstruct the paleoecology of the sites. Mazon station was a small Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway station in Mazon, Illinois. The station was 66 miles west of Chicago on the BNSF Southern Transcon line.
