Devianz is a French rock band founded in 2004. Vincent Cavanagh
Vincent Cavanagh (born 29 August 1973 in Liverpool) is an English singer and guitarist best known as a co-founder (and the sole constant member) of British rock band Anathema. Vincent took over as Anathema's vocalist following the departure of Darren "Daz" White from the group after the ''Pentecost III ''Pentecost III'' is an EP by the British doom metal band Anathema. French Rock
French rock is a form of rock music produced in France, primarily with lyrics in the French language. French rock was born as early as mid-1950s, when writer, songwriter and jazz player Boris Vian wrote parody rock songs for Magali Noël or Henri Salvador. Although Vian despised rock and wrote these songs as attacks, they are highly acclaimed by French critics today and considered precursors. Anathema (band)
Anathema were an English rock band from Liverpool. The group was formed in 1990 by Vincent and Daniel Cavanagh, bassist Jamie Cavanagh, drummer/keyboardist John Douglas, and vocalist Darren White. The band maintained an active concert schedule throughout their career. They first toured in 1992 with the American death metal band Cannibal Corpse; they since performed throughout Europe, the United States, Central America, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Turkey. In the latter stages of their career, the band performed at notable venues such as London's O2 Arena, Wembley Arena, and the London Palladium, as well as appearing on stage with Stephen Hawking at Starmus Festival 3. Patrick Roy (politician)
Patrick Roy (August 30, 1957 – May 3, 2011) was a French politician, a member of the National Assembly. He represented the 19th constituency of the Nord ''département'', and was a member of the French Socialist Party (PSF). He was also the mayor of Denain. He was known for the colorful clothes he wore at the National Assembly and his love of heavy metal music, a musical style he defended on various occasions during the debates concerning the Hadopi law or the controversy about the Hellfest festival. On 5 June 2010, he joined the French metal band Mass Hysteria on stage during the Metallurgicales festival in Denain. In November 2010, Roy revealed that he was suffering from a digestive cancer.
