''Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers'' is an American animated adventure comedy television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. Created by Tad Stones and Alan Zaslove, it featured established Disney characters Chip 'n' Dale in a new setting. The series premiered on The Disney Channel on March 4, 1989,''Disney A to Z: The updated official Encyclopedia'', Dave Smith p 101 after the episode "Catteries Not Included" aired on August 27, 1988, as a preview. The series continued in September with a two-hour special, ''Rescue Rangers: To the Rescue'', later divided into five parts to air as part of the weekday run." The final episode aired on November 19, 1990. On September 18, 1989, the series entered national syndication. ''Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers'' is a 2022 American live-action/computer-animated action-adventure comedy film based on the characters Chip and Dale and continuation of the animated TV series of the same name. Directed by Akiva Schaffer and written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, the film stars John Mulaney and Andy Samberg as the voices of the titular pair, respectively, with KiKi Layne, Will Arnett, Eric Bana, Flula Borg, Dennis Haysbert, Keegan-Michael Key, Tress MacNeille, Tim Robinson, Seth Rogen, and J.K.
