The Story Begins
''The Story Begins'' is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group Twice. It was released by JYP Entertainment on October 20, 2015, through KT Music. It features six tracks, including the lead single, "Like Ooh-Ahh", which was composed by Black Eyed Pilseung and is a blend of several different genres. Following the formation of Twice through the survival show '' Sixteen'', which concluded in July 2015, the group made their official debut three months later. The group promoted their debut EP on several South Korean music show programs, with the EP meeting moderate commercial success, peaking at number three on the Gaon Album Chart and selling over 40,000 copies by the end of 2015. Twice (; Japanese: トゥワイス, Hepburn: ''To~uwaisu''; commonly stylized as TWICE) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Nayeon
Im Na-yeon (; born September 22, 1995), known mononymously as Nayeon, is a South Korean singer. She became a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, under JYP Entertainment, in 2015 as a winning contestant of the reality survival television show '' Sixteen''. In 2022, her eponymous debut extended play (EP), '' Im Nayeon'', peaked at number 7 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, making her the first South Korean soloist to enter the chart's top 10. Kim Da-hyun (; born May 28, 1998), known mononymously as Dahyun, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Mina (Japanese Singer)
, known mononymously as Mina (; ja, ミナ), is a Japanese singer and dancer based in South Korea. She is one of the three Japanese members of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Early life Mina was born on March 24, 1997, in San Antonio, Texas, U.S, to Japanese parents Sachiko (née Terao) and Akira Myoi.
