Rumiko Takahashi's ''Urusei Yatsura'', a Japanese anime and manga series, has six films and twelve OVA releases. During the television run of the series, four theatrical films were produced. '' Urusei Yatsura: Only You'' was directed by Mamoru Oshii and began showing in Japanese cinemas on February 11, 1983. Romantic Comedy
Romantic comedy (also known as romcom or rom-com) is a subgenre of comedy and slice of life fiction, focusing on lighthearted, humorous plot lines centered on romantic ideas, such as how true love is able to surmount most obstacles. Maison Ikkoku
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's ''seinen'' manga magazine ''Big Comic Spirits'' from 1980 to 1987, with the chapters collected into 15 ''tankōbon'' volumes. ''Maison Ikkoku'' is a romantic comedy involving a group of madcap people who live in a boarding house in 1980s Tokyo. The story focuses primarily on the gradually developing relationships between Yusaku Godai, a poor student down on his luck, and Kyoko Otonashi, a young, recently widowed boarding house manager. Yoshiko Sakakibara
is a Japanese actress, voice actress and narrator. Career In 1981, she made her voice actor debut as Flore in ''Six God Combination Godmars''. She also narrates many news programs, especially as a main narrator for TV Asahi News Station for over 10 years. She herself calls her occupation "Voice Actor". In performing the role, she is always aspiring to perform delicate and full of human performance based on detailed settings, backgrounds and habits. ''Animerica'' was a monthly magazine published by Viz Media containing news, feature articles, and reviews on manga, anime, and related media, as well as a section that serialized manga published by Viz. After an initial November 1992 preview issue, ''Animericas first regular issue was released in February of 1993 with a March 1993 cover date. Lum the Invader Girl (), known in Japan simply as , is a fictional character and the female protagonist of Rumiko Takahashi's manga series ''Urusei Yatsura''. She is often believed to be the main protagonist of the series due to her iconic status. However, Takahashi has stated that Ataru Moroboshi is the main character. She is named Lamu in Animax's English-language dub of the series, and in the Italian and French anime dubs as well; however she is still called "Lum" in the Spanish anime dub.
