"God Save the Queen" is a song by the English punk rock band the Sex Pistols. It was released as the band's second single and was later included on their only studio album, '' Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols''. The song was released during Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee in 1977. The record's lyrics, as well as the cover, were controversial at the time; both the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the Independent Broadcasting Authority refused to play the song, including a total ban of its airing by the BBC. The original title for the song was "No Future", with the lyrics themselves being a general expression of the band's view of the monarchy or any individual or establishment commanding general obligation. ''No Future'' is an original novel written by Paul Cornell and based on the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It features the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Bernice. A prelude to the novel, also penned by Cornell, appeared in '' Doctor Who Magazine'' #209. This novel is the conclusion to the " Alternate Universe cycle". ''No Future'' (stylised as ''no future'') is the second studio album by Irish musician Eden, released on 14 February 2020 through the label MCMXCV and distributed by Astralwerks. The album features 19 tracks including the four singles "Untitled", "Projector", "Love, Death, Distraction" and "Isohel", which were released leading up to the album. Cristian Vogel
Cristian Vogel (born 1972) is an Chilean experimental electronic musician. Biography Vogel was born in Chile and moved to England in the early 1980s with his family, fleeing from the government of Augusto Pinochet. Vogel first began working with electronic compositions in the late 1980s with the Cabbage Head Collective (working with Si Begg, among others). He attended the University of Sussex and graduated with a degree in modern music there, suffusing his techno compositions with influences from ''musique concrete'' and other avant-garde styles. Lee Edelman (born 1953) is an American literary critic and academic. He serves as a professor of English at Tufts University. He is the author of four books. Early life Lee Edelman was born in 1953.
