No Future (album)
''No Future'' (stylised as ''no future'') is the second studio album by Irish musician Eden, released on 14 February 2020 through the label MCMXCV and distributed by Astralwerks. The album features 19 tracks including the four singles "Untitled", "Projector", "Love, Death, Distraction" and "Isohel", which were released leading up to the album. The album is followed by the ''No Future'' Tour, which was supposed to visit North America and Europe but got cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic Background and recording Jonathon Ng hinted about a return to the electronic music genre through songs like ''909'' and ''stutter'' which was found in some of the singles in No Future. Eden (musician)
Jonathon Ng (born 23 December 1995), known professionally as Eden (stylised as EDEN), is an Irish musician, singer, songwriter, record producer and occasional model. He formerly operated as The Spab Project and later The Eden Project, an alias that was discontinued in 2015. Ng's work as The Eden Project typically featured more conventional styles of electronic dance music such as dubstep and drum and bass, while Eden saw him venturing into a more indie pop style. Ng released six EPs and over 70 songs and remixes as The Eden Project. As Eden, he launched his own record label, MCMXCV, on which his debut EP ''End Credits'' was released. His second EP, ''I Think You Think Too Much of Me'', was released in August 2016, debuting at No. 43 on the Irish Albums Chart as his first charting music. Astralwerks is an American record label primarily focused on electronic music owned by Universal Music Group. Its material is distributed via Capitol Music Group in the United States. The label was founded in 1993 and, in its early years, featured prominent British acts like The Future Sound of London, Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers. In recent years, its roster has expanded to include acts like Halsey, Marshmello, Porter Robinson, Illenium, Zhu and numerous others. In 2018, Astralwerks' headquarters were moved from its original home of New York City to Los Angeles. History Astralwerks was founded in New York City in July 1993 by Brian Long as an electronic and dance imprint of Caroline Records.
