The Team Speedway Junior European Championship is an annual motorcycle speedway event for junior riders. The event is organised by the European Motorcycle Union (UEM) from 2008 to 2012. Roden, Drenthe
Roden () is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is located in the municipality of Noordenveld, about 16 km (10 miles) southwest of Groningen. History The village was first mentioned in 1139 as Rothen, and means "settlement near a clearing in the forest". Roden is an ''esdorp'' which developed in the Early Middle Ages. It has a large ''brink'' (village square) near the church and a double triangular ''brink'' around what is nowadays called Julianaplein. The Dutch Reformed church has three aisles and dates from the 13th century. The tower has a constricted needle spire which dates from the 15th or 16th century. The church was extended in the 15th century. The church was restored several times during the Dutch Revolt due to war damage. Michal (; he, מיכל , gr, Μιχάλ) was, according to the first Book of Samuel, a princess of the United Kingdom of Israel; the younger daughter of King Saul, she was the first wife of David (), who later became king, first of Judah, then of all Israel. In the Bible identifies Saul's elder daughter as Merab and younger daughter as Michal. Michal's story is recorded in the first Book of Samuel, where it is said in and that Michal loved David. The narrative does not indicate whether this is reciprocated. After David's success in battle against the Philistine giant Goliath, Merab was given in marriage to Adriel. Josef Franc (born 18 January 1979, in Čáslav, Czech Republic) is a former international motorcycle racer who competed in Grasstrack, Longtrack and motorcycle speedway. Career He has appeared as a track reserve in the 2007 Czech Republic Speedway Grand Prix, scoring three points from two rides and has represented the Czech Republic national speedway team at senior level. Franc was the Czech Republic Under-21 Champion in 1999 and was the Czech Republic national champion in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, he was part of the Czech team, along with Hynek Štichauer and Martin Málek, that won the bronze medal at the 2019 Team Long Track World Championship. In 2022, he was part of the Czech team, again with Málek and Štichauer, that won the silver medal at the 2022 Team Long Track World Championship. Mühldorf am Inn (Central Bavarian: ''Muihdorf am Inn'') is a town in Bavaria, Germany, and the capital of the district Mühldorf on the river Inn. The 2009 Team Speedway Junior European Championship will be the 2nd UEM Team Speedway Junior European Championship season. The Final will be held on August 23, 2009 in Holsted, Denmark. The 2008 Team Speedway Junior European Championship was the 1st UEM Team Speedway Junior European Championship season. The Final took place on May 22 2008 in Florian Kapała Stadium in Rawicz, Poland. First edition European Championship was won by Sweden team. Results It was the first Championship title for Linus Eklöf (11 points in Final), Ludvig Lindgren (10 pts), Simon Gustafsson (9 pts), Linus Sundström (6 pts) and Niklas Larsson (0 heats). In Semi Final 1 in Güstrow, Germany won Germany team (45 points). Second was Denmark (38 pts) and they were qualified also. Third was Croatia (28 pts) with Jurica Pavlic (the then Individual European Champion) who was the best rider in this meeting (18 points in 6 heats). Last was France (9 pts).
