Conjure One
Conjure One is a Canadian electronic music project, headed by Rhys Fulber, better known as a member of Front Line Assembly and Delerium. History After performing with Front Line Assembly at the 1996 Roskilde Festival, Fulber left the band to pursue a solo career. He set up a studio in Amsterdam; the influence of life there, and traveling to the Eastern Mediterranean, gave him the idea of an ethnic ambient project. Soon after, a debut album was announced, though Fulber's work as a producer and remixer eventually pushed its release to September 2002. The self-titled album was a fusion of the electronic characteristics of Fulber's previous work—keyboard-based, with rhythmic dance beats—and the influences of Middle Eastern music, which inspired ambient melodies more reminiscent of Delerium. Conjure One (album)
''Conjure One'' is the self-titled debut album by Canadian electronic music project Conjure One, headed by Rhys Fulber. It was released on September 17, 2002 through Nettwerk. Background Being a long-time collaborator of Canadian musician Bill Leeb in the bands Front Line Assembly and Delerium, Fulber had a worldwide hit with the single "Silence" in 1999 with the latter. According to their own figures, Nettwerk sold 1 million copies of the album Karma from which the single was taken. Backed by the success, Fulber decided to release solo material. "Once you have a big song, people listen to what you have to say," he said to Billboard and expressed satisfaction with the label's backing: "Nettwerk was very supportive and has been very patient with me." Holoscenic
''Holoscenic'' is the fourth studio album released by Canadian producer Rhys Fulber as Conjure One, the first album for Armada Music. The album was initially released as a worldwide digital download on November 20, 2015. Overview The album had two singles ahead of its release. First out in April 2013 was the song "Under the Gun" featuring vocals by Leigh Nash, which also featured a remix by Rank 1 and the first music video for Conjure One, shot in Iowa and Tennessee. The second single, "Still Holding On" (released in September 2013), featured vocals by Aruna and remixes by Arisen Flame, Clinton Van Sciver, Mike Shiver and well as a chillout mix by Aruna and Rhys Fulber. The Way I Am (Sandra Song)
"The Way I Am" is a pop song by German singer Sandra, written by Jens Gad, Sandra and Andru Donalds, and produced by Gad. It was released as the lead single from Sandra's eighth studio album '' The Art of Love'' in January 2007. The single included two non-album tracks, "Logical Love" and "Sleep", the latter an alternative version of the track "Casino Royale" from ''The Art of Love''. The Tea Party
The Tea Party is a Canadian rock band with industrial rock, blues, progressive rock, and Middle Eastern music influences, dubbed " Moroccan roll" by the media. Active throughout the 1990s and up until 2005, the band re-formed in 2011. The Tea Party released eight albums on EMI Music Canada, selling over three million records worldwide, including four double-platinum awards, one platinum and four gold albums in Canada. Jeffrey Scott Martin ( Brill; born October 2, 1969) is a Canadian guitarist and singer, best known for fronting the rock band The Tea Party. He began his career as a solo artist in 2005, when The Tea Party went on hiatus. Biography Early years Martin began playing guitar as a child and in his adolescence played in bands The Shadows, Modern Movement, and The Stickmen. In 1988, Jeff graduated from Sandwich Secondary School along with future Tea Party bandmates Jeff Burrows and Stuart Chatwood. He went on to study music at the University of Windsor before leaving his studies prematurely due to philosophical differences with his music professor.
