Conjure One (album)
''Conjure One'' is the self-titled debut album by Canadian electronic music project Conjure One, headed by Rhys Fulber. It was released on September 17, 2002 through Nettwerk. Background Being a long-time collaborator of Canadian musician Bill Leeb in the bands Front Line Assembly and Delerium, Fulber had a worldwide hit with the single "Silence" in 1999 with the latter. According to their own figures, Nettwerk sold 1 million copies of the album Karma from which the single was taken. Backed by the success, Fulber decided to release solo material. "Once you have a big song, people listen to what you have to say," he said to Billboard and expressed satisfaction with the label's backing: "Nettwerk was very supportive and has been very patient with me." __NOTOC__ ''Karma'' is the ninth studio album by Canadian industrial/electronic music group Delerium. Guest musicians on the album include Sarah McLachlan ("Silence"), Lisa Gerrard ("Forgotten Worlds"), Kristy Thirsk ("Enchanted", "Lamentation", "Wisdom", "'Til The End Of Time"), Jacqui Hunt ("Euphoria (Firefly)"), Greg Reely, and Camille Henderson ("Duende"). The album took around a year to record and assemble. Delerium is a Canadian new-age ambient electronic musical duo that formed in 1987, originally as a side project of the influential industrial music act Front Line Assembly. Front Line Assembly (FLA) is a Canadian electro-industrial band formed by Bill Leeb in 1986 after leaving Skinny Puppy. FLA has developed its own sound incorporating elements of electronic body music and electro-industrial. The band's membership has rotated through the years, including Michael Balch, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson, all of whom are associated with several other acts.
