''Street Fighter II: Champion Edition'', released as (stylized as ''Street Fighter II′'' with a Prime (symbol), prime symbol) in Japan, is a fighting game released by Capcom in 1992 in video games, 1992. It was launched for Amusement arcade, arcades and converted to several video game consoles. It is the first of several updated versions of ''Street Fighter II'', and part of the ''Street Fighter'' series. The main changes are the addition of the four grand masters (the final four computer-controlled opponents in the single-player video game, single-player mode) as playable characters and mirror matches. The fighting techniques of the eight main characters from the original game were further balanced for competitive play. , originally spelled in kanji as with his original full name being unknown, is a fictional character in Capcom's ''Street Fighter'' series. Ken is the best friend and rival of Ryu, who has also appeared in all ''Street Fighter'' games. Ken's goal is to test his power against many different fighters, as he strives to become stronger. is a fictional Japanese fighting character and the main protagonist and master of ceremony of Capcom's ''Street Fighter'' series. Balrog (Street Fighter)
Balrog is a fictional character in Capcom's ''Street Fighter'' series. He made his first appearance in '' Street Fighter II: The World Warrior'' in 1991. In the series, he is a disgraced boxer and antagonist who works for M. Bison's organization, Shadaloo. Conception and development Balrog is depicted as an African-American boxer wearing blue trunks with white trim and a torn white shirt under a blue tank top, wearing red boxing gloves and boxing shoes. In Japan, the character of Balrog is named M. Bison (with the letter being an initial for "Mike") after real-life boxer Mike Tyson.
