Zov Djungley
''Call of the Jungles'' (russian: Зов джунглей, Zov Djungley) was a TEFI-awarded Russian children's game show created and hosted by Sergei Suponev. Was aired on Wednesdays on Channel One. Later it was hosted by Pyotr Fyodorov Sr. for 1999, and Nikolai Gadomsky between 1999 and 2000. Music for the show was composed by Viktor Prudkovsky and Sergei Suponev performed the opening theme music "Djungli Zovut" (russian: Джунгли зовут, lit. "Jungles Are Calling"). The contestants were split into two teams of four called "The Predators" and "The Herbivores." Each player was associated with an animal, printed on their T-shirt which included, for the Predators, a crocodile, lion, panther and a leopard. Sergei Suponev
Sergei Yevgenyevich Suponev (russian: Серге́й Евге́ньевич Супо́нев; 28 January 1963 – 8 December 2001) was a TEFI-award winning Soviet and Russian television director, children's television presenter and a manager of children's programming on Channel One. Biography Sergei Suponev was born in Khotkovo, Moscow Oblast in 1963. He entered Lomonosov Moscow State University ( Faculty of Journalism), but dropped out after a year and joined the army. In 1980 he was hired by Central Television, at first as a stevedore, but by 1983 had worked his way up to be the administrator of the musical editorial staff team. Elephant
Elephants are the largest existing land animals. Three living species are currently recognised: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant, and the Asian elephant. They are the only surviving members of the family Elephantidae and the order Proboscidea. Monkey is a common name that may refer to most mammals of the infraorder Simiiformes, also known as the simians. Koala
The koala or, inaccurately, koala bear (''Phascolarctos cinereus''), is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats. The koala is found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. The giant panda (''Ailuropoda melanoleuca''), also known as the panda bear (or simply the panda), is a bear species endemic to China. Leopard
The leopard (''Panthera pardus'') is one of the five extant species in the genus '' Panthera'', a member of the cat family, Felidae.
