Zleep Hotels
Zleep Hotels is a chain of budget hotels based in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 2003 and is today owned by Peter Haaber. The chain consists of nine three-starred hotels of which six are located in the Greater Copenhagen area and three in Jutland. History Zleep Hotels was founded in 2003 by Peter Haaber, Knud Larsen and former HORESTA chairman Egon Klitgaard via the company Nordic Hotel Management. The three partners knew each other from Scandic Hotels. The company was initially headquartered in the same building as its first hotel in Kastrup but moved to larger premises in Avedøre in 2003. Peter Haaber later acquired full ownership of the company (when?). Zleep Hotels became a member of the European Hotelstars Union in 2017. A hotel is an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis. Facilities provided inside a hotel room may range from a modest-quality mattress in a small room to large suites with bigger, higher-quality beds, a dresser, a refrigerator and other kitchen facilities, upholstered chairs, a flat screen television, and en-suite bathrooms. Royal Arena
The Royal Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in the Ørestad South area of Copenhagen, Denmark. The ground was broken for construction on 26 June 2013 and the arena opened in February 2017. It has a capacity of 13,000 for sporting events and up to 16,000 (either sitting or standing) for concerts. Background In Copenhagen, Parken Stadium, which is primarily a football stadium, is the largest indoor arena in Denmark (when its retractable roof is closed), with a seating capacity of 38,065. For most international sporting events, Brøndby Hall and Ballerup Super Arena were not considered large enough, while Parken Stadium is too large. While the Malmö Arena in Sweden, across from Copenhagen on the eastern side of the Øresund strait (which forms the Denmark–Sweden border), was suitable for regional and international events requiring an indoor arena with a capacity of 10,000–20,000, it could not be expected to serve Danish domestic events.
