Zhenskaya Hockey League
The Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL; russian: Женская хоккейная лига, translit=Zhenskaya khokkeynaya liga, translation=Women's Hockey League), officially called the Women's Hockey League (WHL), is a professional ice hockey league in Eurasia, currently comprising nine teams: eight from Russia and one from China. The league is also known as the PariMatch Women's Hockey League for sponsorship reasons. The league was founded via a joint partnership of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia (FHR) on 19 June 2015. It replaced the Russian Women's Hockey League (RWHL), which had been founded in 1995 and was operated by the FHR alone. Alexei Morozov
Alexei Alekseyevich Morozov (russian: Алексей Алексе́евич Морозов; born 16 February 1977) is the president of the Kontinental Hockey League and a Russian former professional ice hockey player. He played professional hockey with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the National Hockey League (NHL) and in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with Ak Bars Kazan and CSKA Moscow. He is the former captain of the Russian national team, having held the post from 2007–2011, with the team winning 2 gold, 1 silver (missed tournament due to injury, Kovalchuk captained) and 1 bronze medal at the World Championships during this time. Biryusa Krasnoyarsk () are a Russian ice hockey team in the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL). They play in Krasnoyarsk, the capital of Krasnoyarsk Krai in Siberia, at the Platinum Arena Krasnoyarsk and use Fakel Ice Palace as a secondary arena.
