Zaichenko () is a village in Mariupol Raion ( district) in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine, at 89.7 km SSE from the centre of Donetsk city, at 23.6 km SE from Volnovakha, at about 15 km east from Mariupol. January 2015 Mariupol Rocket Attack
An attack on Mariupol was launched on 24 January 2015 by Russian forces and Russia's controlled extremists against the strategic maritime city of Mariupol, defended by Ukrainian government forces. Mariupol had come under attack multiple times in the previous year in the course of the War in Donbass, including in May–June 2014, when the city was under the control of Russian controled forces; and in the September 2014 offensive. On 24 January 2015, the Mariupol city council and regional police said the city was subjected to indiscriminate rocket fire from the long-range Grad systems, killing at least 30 and injuring 128. The points of the compass are a set of horizontal, radially arrayed compass directions (or azimuths) used in navigation and cartography. The BM-27 Uragan (russian: БМ-27 Ураган, lit=Hurricane; GRAU index 9P140) is a self-propelled 220 mm multiple rocket launcher designed in the Soviet Union. The system began its service with the Soviet Army in the late 1970s, and was its first modern spin and fin stabilized heavy multiple rocket launcher. A multiple rocket launcher (MRL) or multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) is a type of rocket artillery system that contains multiple launchers which are fixed to a single platform, and shoots its rocket ordnance in a fashion similar to a volley gun.
