José Mário de Almeida Barros, (born 1 February 1949 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian football manager. He formerly coached the Al-Arabi Sports Club in Qatar. Career In Summer 2008, Ze Mario has served his contract with Al Wasl Club after two successful seasons, where he was able to win both the UAE League, and the UAE President Cup titles in the first season (2007/2008). And was able to lead them to the final of the UAE President Cup for the second consecutive year in the second season, and he has also led them in their AFC Champions League journey which ended in the group stage. The UAE Pro League ( ar, دوري المحترفين الإماراتي), known for sponsorship reasons as the ADNOC Pro League, is the top professional football league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The first team to win the title was Al Orouba (Sharjah), whilst Al Ain has the record with 14 league titles to their name. Al Wasl Football Club ( ar, نادي الوصل لكرة القدم) is an Emirati professional football club based in Dubai, that competes in the United Arab Emirates Football League. Al-Shabab Football Club ( ar, نادي الشباب), or The Youth Football Club, in English, is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Riyadh. The Qatar national football team ( ar, منتخب قطر لكرة القدم) represents Qatar in international football, and is controlled by the Qatar Football Association and AFC.
