Zuzana Kocumová
Zuzana Kocumová (born 26 May 1979) is a Czech cross-country skier who competed from 1996 to 2001. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, she finished sixth in the 4 × 5 km relay, 35th in the 30 km event, 41st in the 5 km + 10 km combined pursuit and 59th in the 5 km event. Kocumová's best result at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was 23rd twice (1997: 5 km + 10 km combined pursuit, 2001: 15 km). Her best World Cup result was 12th in an individual sprint event in Switzerland ). The women's 10 kilometre freestyle pursuit cross-country skiing competition at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, was held on 10 February at Snow Harp. The startlist for this race was based on the 5 km classical event from earlier in the games. The winner of the 5 km classical event, Larissa Lazutina of Russia, was the first starter in the pursuit. The rest of the competitors started behind Lazutina with the same number of seconds that they were behind her at the 5 km classical event. The winner of the race was the first competitor to finish the pursuit. Results The time reflects the combined time from both the 5 km classical and the 10 km freestyle pursuit. Sportsperson of the Year ( cs, Sportovec roku) is an award given by the Sport Journalists' Club (, KSN) to the best Sportsperson and the best Sport Team of the given year in the Czech Republic.
