Zurab Nasaraya ( ka, ზურაბ ნასარაია) (born 19 October 1973) is a Georgian politician who currently serves as the Governor of Guria. Political career In 1999 Zurab Nasaraya began his political career in Poti local council becoming a Member of Parliament in 2002 serving on both the Committee on Tax Revenue, Finance & Budget as well as the Interim Corruption Investigation Commission. In 2004 he left politics getting jobs in the Georgian Railways and reentered politics again on the 30 August 2018 as Governor of the Guria region of Georgia. Salome Zourabichvili ( ka, სალომე ზურაბიშვილი, ; born 18 March 1952) is a Franco-Georgian political figure and former diplomat who currently serves as the fifth President of Georgia, in office since December 2018. She is the first woman to be elected as Georgia's president, a position she will occupy for a term of six years. Georgian Railway LLC ( ka, საქართველოს რკინიგზა, tr) is the national railway company of Georgia. A vital artery linking the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, it sits on the shortest route between Europe and Central Asia.
