Zou Lihong
Zou Lihong (born 26 February 1984) is a Paralympic Champion from China competing mainly in category T54 sprint, middle-distance and long-distance events. Athletic career Zou made her first senior appearance as a T54 athlete for China in 2010 at track meet in Guangzhou. Her first major international competition was at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. She entered four track events winning bronze in the 800 metres middle-distance race. As well as her Paralympic success, Zou has also found success at World Championship level. At the 2015 Doha she medals at all four events she entered, including three golds, in the individual 800 m and 5000m and the 4 × 400 m relay. Zou also enters long-distance events, finishing fifth in the 2016 London Marathon. Personal history Zou was born in Dali, China in 1984. 2010 Asian Para Games
The 2010 Asian Para Games (), also known as the First Asian Para Games, was a parallel sport event for Asian athletes with a disability held in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China, China. Polio
Poliomyelitis, commonly shortened to polio, is an infectious disease caused by the poliovirus. Approximately 70% of cases are asymptomatic; mild symptoms which can occur include sore throat and fever; in a proportion of cases more severe symptoms develop such as headache, neck stiffness, and paresthesia. These symptoms usually pass within one or two weeks. A less common symptom is permanent paralysis, and possible death in extreme cases.. The 2016 London Marathon was the 36th running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 24 April. The men's elite race was won by Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge and the women's race was won by Kenyan Jemima Sumgong. The men's wheelchair race was won by Marcel Hug from Switzerland and the women's wheelchair race was won by American Tatyana McFadden. Around 247,069 people applied to enter the race: 53,152 had their applications accepted and 39,523 started the race. These were all record highs for the race. A total of 39,091 runners, 23,983 men and 15,108 women, finished the race. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; german: Internationales Paralympisches Komitee) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement.
