Zoi Rapti
Zoe Rapti ( el, Ζωή Ράπτη) is a Greek lawyer and politician, who has been a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for the New Democracy party for Athens B1 since 2019. On 5 August 2020, she became Deputy Minister for Mental Health in the Cabinet of Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Biography Rapti was born in Athens and lives in the Filothei-Psychiko municipality. She studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1984-1989) and then undertook postgraduate study at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom (1990-1991), where she received a Master of Laws with honours in International Commercial Law. From 1991 to 2014, Rapti worked as a lawyer in Athens in the Council of State where she specialised in environmental and surveyance law. The 2014 European Parliament election was held in the European Union, from 22 to 25 May 2014. New Democracy, or the New Democratic Revolution, is a concept based on Mao Zedong's Bloc of Four Social Classes theory in post-revolutionary China which argued originally that democracy in China would take a path that was decisively distinct from that in any other country. 2019 Greek Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Greece on 7 July 2019. The elections were called by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on 26 May 2019 after the ruling Syriza party lost the European and local elections. They were the first national elections since the voting age was lowered to 17, and the number of parliamentary constituencies was increased from 56 to 59. Evangelos-Vasileios "Vangelis" Meimarakis ( el, Ευάγγελος-Βασίλειος "Βαγγέλης" Μεϊμαράκης, ; born 14 December 1953), is a Greek lawyer and politician who served as the acting President of New Democracy and Leader of the Opposition in Greece from 5 July to 24 November 2015, competing as the challenger to Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in the September 2015 Greek legislative election. September 2015 Greek Legislative Election
Legislative elections were held in Greece on Sunday, 20 September 2015, following Prime Minister of Greece, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' announced resignation on 20 August.
