Hebrew Language
Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family. Historically, it is one of the spoken languages of the Israelites and their longest-surviving descendants, the Jews and Samaritans. It was largely preserved throughout history as the main liturgical language of Judaism (since the Second Temple period) and Samaritanism. Hebrew is the only Canaanite language still spoken today, and serves as the only truly successful example of a dead language that has been revived. Yoav David Ziv ( he, יואב זיו; born 16 March 1981) is a retired Israeli footballer. He is currently the first team manager in Maccabi Tel Aviv. As a player he could perform on either flank of the formation, usually attacking from defence as he is adept with both feet, although he favoured the right. Early life Ziv was born in Hadera, Israel, to a Jewish family. Club career He started playing for Maccabi Haifa in the youth level, he was part of the team that won the 1998–99 season of the Israeli Noar Premier League. Rebecca Sieff Hospital (also Ziv Medical Center) ( he, בית החולים רבקה זיו) is a general hospital in Safed, Israel that serves the residents of Safed, the Upper Galilee and the northern Golan Heights. Ziv Rubinstein ( he, זיו רובינשטיין) is an Israeli composer, songwriter and television producer. Biography Ziv Rubinstein was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel. Ziv Kalontarov (also "Kalontorov", "Kaluntarov", and "Kalntrov"; he, זיו קלונטרוב; born 15 January 1997) is an Israeli Olympic swimmer and the reigning European Games champion in the 50 m freestyle. Ziv Better ( he, זיו בטר) is an Israeli swimmer. Better was born in Kibbutz Lehavot HaBashan. During his military service with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF] he served as an officer in Golani Brigade. Better was injured by a mine while attempting to rescue one of his soldiers, Doron Shaziri, while fighting in the Lebanon War. Ziv Bar-Joseph is an Israeli computational biologist and Professor in the Computational Biology Department and the Machine Learning Department at the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science.
