Zinnia Flower
''Zinnia Flower'' () is a 2015 Taiwanese film starring Karena Lam, Stone, Ko Chia-yen, Umin Boya, Bryan Chang, Nana Lee and Gen Yan Tsai. The film was released on October 8, 2015. It was chosen as the closing film of the Taipei Film Festival in 2015. It is based on the story of how director Tom Lin Shu-yu and a woman get over the pain of losing their loved ones during the 100 days following their deaths. Karena Lam won the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress for her role in the film, as well as being nominated for the Asian Film Award for Best Actress. Plot Yu Wei and Shin Min lose their partners in the same multi-car crash. To cope, Yu Wei drinks excessively, while Shin Min cooks the recipes her fiancé had left day after day. Tom Lin Shu-yu
Thomas Lin Shu-yu (; born 1976) is a Taiwanese director and screenwriter. After the critical success of his first two features, '' Winds of September'' (2008), for which he won Best Original Screenplay at the 45th Golden Horse Awards, and ''Starry Starry Night'' (2011), he has been considered a leading filmmaker of his generation. His films often deal with autobiographical elements. Early life Lin attended elementary school in Twin Cities, Minnesota, where his father was conducting his doctorate research in American literature. He returned to Hsinchu, Taiwan, his junior year to attend National Experimental High School, an experimental bilingual high school, despite not knowing any Mandarin. Sodagreen (; stylized as sodagreen) is a Taiwanese indie band formed in 2001. Its members have been unchanged since 2003. Sodagreen emerged in the Taiwanese indie music scene after receiving the Grand Jury Award in the Hohaiyan Gongliau Rock Festival in 2004, after which it signed a contract with Willlin Music. The band is the first indie band to hold a concert in the Taipei Arena. History Sodagreen was named by Shih, the band's leader at the time, and Wu, the lead vocalist.
