Zig Zag (Canadian TV Series)
''Zig Zag'' was a Canadian children's television series. It was produced by CHAN-TV, BCTV (now Global BC) in Vancouver, British Columbia from 1979-1988. Among the hosts of the series were Terry David Mulligan, Susanne McLellan, Valri Bromfield, Mairlyn Smith, Bill Reiter, and Rick Ducommun. Norm Grohmann, Nicola Cavendish, and Ryan Stiles also made regular appearances on the show. One segment of the show was ''The Biff and Bart Show'', which originally started out only as a two-minute "filler" segment, but as the years went by it ultimately took over the whole program. Ryan Lee Stiles (born April 22, 1959) is an American-Canadian actor, comedian, and producer whose work is often associated with improvisational comedy. Naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) and technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive materials (TENORM) consist of materials, usually industrial wastes or by-products enriched with radioactive elements found in the environment, such as uranium, thorium and potassium and any of their decay products, such as radium and radon. Produced water discharges and spills are a good example of entering NORMs into the surrounding environment. Terry David Mulligan
Terry David Mulligan (born June 30, 1942) is a Canadian actor and radio and television personality based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Life and career Born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Mulligan worked as a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer in Olds, Alberta, and Red Deer, Alberta, from 1960 through 1964. After leaving the Mounties, Mulligan worked as a radio disc jockey for 20 years, he hosted a TV show on Global TV called ''The New Quiz Kids'', and then joined CBC Television as host of the music video series ''Good Rockin' Tonite'' (simultaneously, he was also a regular on the children's TV series ''Zig Zag'', produced by BCTV).
