Zielony Balonik
Zielony Balonik (literally, ''the Green Balloon'') was a popular literary cabaret founded in Kraków by the local poets, writers and artists during the final years of the Partitions of Poland. The venue was a gourmet restaurant of Apolinary J. Michalik called the ''Michalik's Den'' ( Jama Michalika). The cabaret was founded in 1905 and ran regularly until 1912 (staged occasionally until 1915).Zielony Balonik.

Jama Michalika
Jama Michalika is a popular café with history spanning over a hundred years. It is located at Floriańska Street in Kraków, the capital of the Lesser Poland region. Jama Michalika (lit. Michalik's Den in Polish) is one of the oldest Kraków cafes. It was inaugurated in 1895 by Jan Apolinary Michalik, then under the name ''Cukiernia Lwowska'' (Lwów Confiserie). The current name, also translated as the Michalik's Cave, came into existence because initially Michalik could afford only a single room in the back, without any windows. The central location in the Ulica Floriańska 45 as well as the patisserie offering and the invitation to students from the nearby Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts, Academy of Fine Arts to eat there free of charge in exchange for their small works of art, the cafe became quickly popular. The Austrian Partition ( pl, zabór austriacki) comprise the former territories of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth acquired by the Habsburg monarchy during the Partitions of Poland in the late 18th century. Adam Franciszek Józef Siedlecki or Adam Grzymała-Siedlecki (AGS) (1876–1967) was a Polish literary and theater critic, playwright, translator, prose writer and director. Fryderyk Pautsch
Fryderyk Pautsch (22 September 1877, Deliatyn - 1 July 1950, Kraków) was an Austrian-Polish painter; associated with the Young Poland movement. Life and work In 1898, he began his studies in jurisprudence at the University of Lemberg (now the University of Lviv), followed by advanced legal studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakau. For reasons unknown, he decided to pursue a career in art instead. Pursuant to this goal, he enrolled at the local Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts, Academy of Fine Arts. His instructors included Leon Wyczółkowski and Józef Unierzyski. Thanks to a scholarship, he was able to study in Paris, at the Académie Julian, from 1905 to 1906. Stefan Filipkiewicz
Stefan Filipkiewicz (28 July 1879, Tarnów, Austria-Hungary–23 August 1944, Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp, Nazi Germany) was a Polish painter and designer, notable for his landscapes inspired by the Young Poland movement. Stanisław Kuczborski (painter)
Stanisław Kuczborski (1881 in Warsaw – 1911 in Warsaw) was a Polish Young Poland, modernist painter, graphic artist and caricaturists. His mother, Klotylda Kuczborska (née Gierymska) was a sister of renowned painters Aleksander Gierymski and Maksymilian Gierymski. Kuczborski studied painting in Kraków at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts, School of Fine Arts under Leon Wyczółkowski and Jan Stanisławski (painter), Jan Stanisławski before continuing his art education in Paris. He was a co-founder and participant of the legendary Zielony Balonik art-and-literary cabaret in Kraków. Alfons Karpiński (February 20, 1875 – June 6, 1961) was a Polish painter specializing in portraits of women, still-lives and landscapes. His work is associated with the traditionalist and decorative trends in Polish 20th-century painting. Witold Wojtkiewicz
Witold Wojtkiewicz (29 December 1879, Warsaw – 14 June 1909, Warsaw) was a Polish painter, illustrator and printmaker. Although generally considered an Expressionist, some of his works are precursors of Surrealism. Biography He came from a family of eleven children. His father was the chief cashier at Bank Handlowy and did not support Witold's desire to become an artist. Nevertheless, he was able to enroll at the Warsaw school of drawing, where he studied with Jan Kauzik. Leon Schiller
Leon Schiller or Leon Schiller de Schildenfeld (14 March 1887 – 25 March 1954) was a Polish theatre and film director, as well as critic and theatre theoretician. He also wrote theatre and radio screenplays and composed music. He was born in Kraków (then Krakau) under the Austrian rule during the foreign Partitions of Poland, to a family of Austrian origin that had been ennobled by Empress Maria Theresa. Schiller became famous for his 1934 staging of Adam Mickiewicz's ''Dziady'' at Warsaw's '' Teatr Polski'' (Polish Theatre).
