Zhang Yihu
Zhang Yihu (; born 1962) is a lieutenant general (''zhong jiang'') of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) of China. He has served as deputy commander of the Central Theater Command since 2016. He formerly served as commander of the Lanzhou Military Region Air Force and deputy commander of the Lanzhou MR. Biography Zhang Yihu was born in 1962 in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. He enlisted in the PLAAF in 1980, serving in the Nanjing Military Region Air Force. He rose to a regimental leader in the 3rd Fighter Division of the PLAAF, and was the commander of the air force squad in the 1999 Chinese National Day Parade. In 2002, Zhang became commander of the 33rd Fighter Division. He was promoted to deputy chief of staff of the Chengdu Military Region Air Force in July 2008, and assistant chief of staff of the PLAAF a year later. Lanzhou Military Region
The Lanzhou Military Region was one of seven military regions in the People's Republic of China. It directed all People's Liberation Army and People's Armed Police forces in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, and Ngari Prefecture in northwest Tibet. It was headquartered in Lanzhou in Gansu Province. It is bordered to the south by the Chengdu Military Region, and to the north by Mongolia, the Altai Republic, which is a political subdivision of the Russian Federation, and Kazakhstan. This region is now part of the Western Theater Command due to the military reforms of 2015. Nanjing Military Region
The Nanjing Military Region () was one of the former seven military command regions for the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Its jurisdiction covers all military and armed police located in Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, and Shanghai. It also covers Taiwan, which is claimed by the People's Republic of China but administered by the Republic of China. The head of the region was Cai Yingting. This region is now part of the Eastern Theater Command. The 60th Corps was active in the Nanjing Military Region until disbanded in late 1985. Huang Guoxian
Huang Guoxian (; born April 1962) is a lieutenant general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). He has served as the inaugural Commander of the Eastern Theater Command Air Force since its establishment in February 2016. Prior to that, he was Commander of the Nanjing Military Region Air Force and Deputy Commander of the Nanjing MR from 2013 to 2016. Biography Huang Guoxian was born in April 1962 in Henan Province. Ma Zhenjun (; born 1962) is a lieutenant general (''zhong jiang'') of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) of China. He has been Chief of Staff of the PLAAF since August 2013, and previously served as commander of the Beijing Military Region Air Force. Biography Ma was born in 1962 in Pingyu, Henan Province. Beijing Military Region
The Beijing Military Region was one of seven military regions for the Chinese People's Liberation Army. From the mid 1980s to 2017, it had administration of all military affairs within Beijing city, Tianjin city, Hebei province, Shanxi province, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The Region is mainly responsible for defending the People's Republic of China from Mongolia and Russia, and also protects the capital of China, and had the largest number of military personnel of any of the seven regions active from 1985-2017. Chengdu Military Region
The Chengdu Military Region was one of seven military districts and is located in the southwest of the People's Republic of China, covering Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, and the Xizang/Tibet Autonomous Region. It includes some of the area previously within the Kunming Military Region and has its headquarters in Chengdu. It was probably established in 1955. The Tibet Military Region was reduced to the status of a district in 1971. Zhuang Kezhu (; born February 1955) is a lieutenant general (''zhong jiang'') of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) of China.
