Zhang Lu (Han Dynasty)
Zhang Lu () (died 216), courtesy name Gongqi, was a Chinese politician, religious leader, and warlord who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty. He was the third generation Celestial Master, a Taoist religious order. He controlled a state in the Hanzhong region, which he had named Hanning () until 215, when he surrendered to Cao Cao, whom he would serve until his death one year later. Warlord of Hanzhong Upon the death of his father, Zhang Heng ( 张衡), Zhang Lu inherited control of the Celestial Masters religious group, and therefore became its third leader (the first was Zhang Lu's grandfather Zhang Daoling). Zhang Lu (; 1464–1538)Cihai: Page 1085. was a Chinese landscape painter during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Zhang was born in Xiangfu (祥符; present-day Kaifeng, Henan) into a wealthy family and educated with princes of the imperial family. He attained great success as a professional painter but lived very simply, almost as a hermit. He began his study of painting by emulating the leading court painter, Wang E, but quickly turned from the academy to other models and masters. His courtesy name was Tianchi (天馳) and his pseudonym was Pingshan (平山). He was a student of Wu Wei.Cihai: Page 1085. Zhang followed the Zhe school of painting. Zhang Lu (Chinese: 張露; January 21, 1932 – January 26, 2009), often written Chang Loo, was a Chinese singer and actress, known as a pioneer in Chinese pop beginning in the 1940s. Biography She was born Zhang Xiuying (张秀英) in Suzhou in 1932. Her family moved to Shanghai when she was a young child. Zhang was discovered in the mid-1940s by her neighbor, a broadcaster, who recommended her to sing at a local radio station. She started out singing covers of popular Zhou Xuan songs. By the late 1940s, she had signed with EMI. She released a series of hits songs, becoming popular in both Shanghai and Hong Kong. "给我一个吻" ("Give Me a Kiss"), a Mandarin cover of "Seven Lonely Days," became one of her best-known songs. Other hits included "小小羊儿要回家," "不许他回家," and "迎春花" ("Little Lamb is Going Home," "Don't Let Him Go Home," and "Winter Jasmine," respectively). Zhang Lü (; ; born May 30, 1962) is a Chinese filmmaker. Zhang was originally a novelist before embarking on a career in cinema. His arthouse films have mostly focused on the disenfranchised, particularly ethnic Koreans living in China; these include ''Grain in Ear'' (2006), ''Desert Dream'' (2007), ''Dooman River'' (2011), ''Scenery'' (2013), and ''Gyeongju'' (2014). Career Zhang Lü is a third-generation ethnic Korean born in Yanbian, Jilin, China in 1962. Zhang Lu (; ; born August 23, 1987) is a Chinese footballer who plays as a right winger or right-back for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League. Club career Zhang Lu would start his professional football career with Henan Jianye in the 2006 league season and was part of the squad that won the division title and promotion to the top tier. He would make his first Chinese Super League appearance on 29 April 2007 against Dalian Shide in a 2-1 victory. Zhang Lu (; ; born 6 September 1987 in Tianjin) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League club Shenzhen. Club career Zhang Lu started his football career with Liaoning Whowin in 2005 after graduating from their youth team. Despite his age, he had quickly established himself within the Liaoning squad in his debut season. However while he had firmly established himself as the first choice goalkeeper, by the 2008 league season, he unfortunately saw them relegated to the second tier. Despite this setback, Zhang remained with Liaoning and helped the team win the second division title as well as promotion back to the top tier after only one season.
